Bio in Jim's own words: I have always been inspired by the words of the legendary coach of the Green Bay Packers -- Vince Lombardi, "To achieve success -- whatever the job we have -- we must pay a price."; I have always believed that through hard work - anyone can achieve their goals. That pretty much explains how I got to where I am today -- hard work. Don't get me wrong -- it's all been a labour of love.

Like a lot of TV sportscasters -- I started my career in radio. While I loved my time in radio and enjoyed every minute of it, nothing can compare to the thrill of working at Sportsnet. There is just so much positive energy at this place it amazes me. No matter what -- every time I am getting ready to start another edition of Sportsnetnews - I am all jacked up like it's the very first time. It sounds cheesy - but I really believe this -- every day I come to work it's like a dream come true. Loving it!
